Georgian Movie Corn Island - March 11

is presenting the Georgian movie

"Corn Island"

at the Francophone festival.

 

 

 

 

Corn Island is a 2014 Georgian drama film directed by Giorgi Ovashvili. It was selected as the Georgian entry for consideration for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards. The film won the Crystal Globe prize at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

George Ovashvili was recently decorated with the France's top civilian award - Order of Arts and Letters for his contribution to international arts, so this makes his films great candidates for the screening at the Francophonie Festival.

The screening will take place at:
